The gavel has fallen and the prison sentence for America's Dad and "Mr. Perfect" himself has been handed down,

[dropcaps type=’normal’ font_size=’65’ color=’#ed145b’ background_color=” border_color=”]T[/dropcaps]he hammer has fallen and the one who is a “TV Daddy” to millions is going to jail. 81-year old William H. “Bill” Cosby is going to   prison. Today “America’s Dad” has been found guilty of sexual assault, deemed a sexual predator and was sentenced to a 3 to 10 year prison sentence. Cosby was denied bail and was immediately sent away to begin serving his sentence. Cosby’s lawyers made a request to have him released on bail while appeal proceedings were placed in motion, but this request was met with this response from Judge Steven O’Neill: “…he could quite possibly be a danger to the community.” Cosby opted for silence when given the chance to voice his reckoning before his sentencing.

Earlier this year in April a Pennsylvania jury found Cosby guilty on three counts of aggravated indecent assault for a 2004 incident involving the drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand, former Director of Operations for the Temple University Women’s basketball team.

Camile Cosby, wife of more than 54 years was not present for the sentencing, but this didn’t stop Cosby from being in apparent high spirits. After being handed the 3-10 year sentence, Cosby was seen talking and joking with his defense team.
